Detulux 74 - Effective Delegation by Psi-Baka-Onna Detulux 74 - Effective Delegation by Psi-Baka-Onna
What's the matter, Cap'n, don't wanna be a hero?

This was originally going to end a tad differently. Mainly because Pain was going to be the one wielding the chainsaw. His character's evolved over the last decade though so it was ultimately decided that it would be far too "Mary Sue-ish" to have Pain do the deed himself. This version is far more in character.

who throws a guy wielding a chainsaw?! a guy wielding a rocket launcher would have been better!

I'm not sure how physics works - would the rocket actually go anywhere if the Captain is already moving at velocity?

Newtonian physics. "A body in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by an outside force." The recoil of firing a missile would cause him to slow down or stop (or fly in a different direction if he pointed it perpendicular to his current direction of travel) but the missile would continue onwards.

Of course, this is set in a cartoon world. Physics got stopped at the border and was violated by the guards...

Ah, of course. Just like the Solider in TF2. Obvious, really. :)
